The Most Trusted Name in Laser Safety Certification
The Board of Laser Safety (BLS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing highly qualified LSOs by providing a means for achieving professional certification through assessment. Many for-profit training companies will advertise their course completion certificate as a 'certification'. The BLS is the only recognized provider of the CLSOTM and CMLSOTM designation. These designations are well respected in the laser safety community, as each means the individual completed in-depth training, has on-the-job experience, and has passed a proctored exam that is psychometrically sound, developed by subject-matter experts with a long history of involvement in the field of laser safety.
